Lead CNC Operator
Confederate Motor Company is hiring a Lead CNC Operator to join our dynamic, highly motivated team with world leading products. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience with set up and operation of CNC lathes and mills. Experience in motorcycle assembly/production and Haas mills and controls are a plus. • Responsible for producing multiple machine parts primarily from billet aluminum as well as stainless steel and composites
• Duties include validating drawings for precise measurements, reporting deficiencies and editing programs as necessary
• Establish a highly efficient and effective job schedule to ensure all production parts are available at all times with no downtime in manufacturing
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Check quality of tools before and after operations; keep inventory of tools
• Work with Design team to create new parts for prototyping
Required Skills:
• Minimum 3 years experience with CNC mills and lathes
• Able to edit and upload programs
• Thorough knowledge of machine set-up, tooling selection and materials for the job
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, tolerances and drafting symbols
• Experience with precision measurement tools to include micrometers, calipers and depth gauges
• Intense focus on quality and speed
• Experience with CAD software a plus

Accountant/Bookkeeper
Confederate Motor Company is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper who is very detailed oriented with solid accounting background and strong administration skills. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience including AP, AR, cost accounting, inventory management, bank reconciliation, and employee benefit administration. Duties:
• Manage all day-to-day accounting operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
• Perform accounting close activities including: the reconciliation of inventory, month-end close journal entries, evaluation of
manufacturing spending and related overhead capture, preparation of month-end cost reporting package.
• Analysis of parts purchases and associated purchase price variance.
• Perform quarterly inventory cycle counts.
• Develop an understanding of assembly costing and assign costs for newly introduced assemblies.
• Perform standard-setting activities, including the development of overhead rates, yield assumptions, and standard costs for selected
purchase parts.
• Perform as needed analysis relating to excess and/or obsolete inventory.
Qualifications:
BS Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business preferred, will consider non-degreed with relevant experience.
2+ years accounting or job costing experience, including AP, AR, journal entries, inventory management, bank reconciliation.
Experience in manufacturing and Peachtree Accounting is a plus, but not required.
Strong computer skills (particularly Excel).
